Arabian Beauty/Basra Haider: Forever Silky Smooth!
By BASRA HAIDER
AL ARABIYA
Laser-hair-removal has served the Arabian woman well. We are perhaps more grateful for it than any other women, because the hair is dark, because there’s a lot of it; because-most of us are waxed at the tender age of eight or nine, the belief being that if the hair is removed before puberty then it has less of a growth spurt when everything else starts to grow.

William and Kate go cowboy chic on their overseas tour
Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, might have finished their overseas tour of parts of Canada-and-California, but we're still buzzing. We just can't get enough of the duchess and her confident, elegant style.
The newlyweds are now old pros at dressing for public appearances. While in the U.S., Catherine wore a flowy Alexander McQueen gown to the BAFTA "Brits to Watch" gala, a hand-painted silver dress by Jenny Packham to a charity polo match in Santa Barbara and a white-and-navy ensemble to paint with kids at an art center in L.A.'s skid row. But who knew the royal couple would look so good when they went country in jeans and cowboy hats?
These outfits came out when Kate and William made an appearance at the BMO Centre in Calgary, Canada. The look was a far cry from something the duke and duchess-- would wear to tea with the queen, but it's difficult to watch a lively herd of livestock in heels.

The brit pack bash
Young debutantes and celebrities gathered to celebrate the royal wedding
Although the honoured royal guests and dignitaries had already enjoyed the luncheon reception following the royal wedding of HRH Prince William and Miss Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, since last Friday the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, young Thai celebrities managed to celebrate the special moment for the British monarchy in an exclusive party hosted by the British Embassy last week.
British ambassador Asif Ahmad with his wife Zubeda.
Taking place on Tuesday at the embassy, the bash welcomed young debutantes and celebrities within the age range of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and with links to the UK.
Dressed in their best outfits following the dress code, based loosely on anything to do with the UK, guests graced the residence of the British ambassador in eye-catching outfits - from a sequined Union Jack shift dress to the omnipresent Burberry checks.
